WOW, talk about EXCITING NEWS!! As I was checking on the results of the WedComp 2008 International Wedding  Images Competiion, my jaw dropped in astonishment when I saw that one of our images place 15th in the Ceremony category of the competition!!

Here's a quick description about the competition... "WedComp is a wedding photography competition open to any wedding photographer in the world with no restrictions as to style, approach or post production. The competition is judged by industry leading wedding photographers. The four categories are Getting Ready, Ceremony, Portrait and Reception" Isn't this AWESOME??!!!    To think that its been a year since we've put up blog.johnlauren.com and now we're placed Top 25 in an International Wedding Competition???!!!...we're seriously speechless!  At the same time, this milestone for us is also a testament to the awesome Brides and Grooms that believed in us and our work.  Thank you! =) Just in case you were wondering, the winning image was from Linda+Dennis' wedding that we shot in August 2008.  Thank you Linda and Dennis! Lastly, we have one more big announcement so keep an eye out for it...we're hoping to post it later this week! =)
