It's been quite a while since we've last posted to say the least and well a TON has happened since then. But i guess we'll get into that some other day. This post is about our crazy-fun-and-happily-engaged couple Victoria and Brian.
Victoria and Brian are a super active couple that love to do everything outdoors...in other words they do everything Lauren and I think about doing except we revert to dining at our favorite local restaurant instead =) Needless to say, we definitely wanted to capture their fun loving/active nature in they're Engagement photos but while also mixing it up with a few "drop it like it's hot off the press" magazine style shots!
Victoria+Brian...I was THIS close to posting your crazy 5 foot jump/dive on Brian shot but I restrained myself =) haha Seriously, we definitely LOVED how these turned out and we hope we captured you two the way you both envisioned. You guys were super fun and we can't wait for your wedding! =)

Typically, we don't do beach shoots because of a few reasons so knowing Mylene+Jesse wanted to do their engagement session at the beach or at least end up at a beach, we were a little nervous nonetheless =) But, all nerves went away once this gorgeous couple showed up, decked out and ready to rock. One look at them and we felt like we were shooting for a JCREW catalog! =) They looked AMAZING!
After some intense research, we found the perfect beach in Laguna Beach and it couldn't have worked out any better....timing, lighting, location, scenery...all of it was perfect! We started at the parking garage and eventually as the sun was setting, we made our way down to the sand.

Sheila and Jerry wanted to do their shoot at the place that had some meaning so Lauren and I hopped in our car and headed down to beautiful San Diego...UCSD to be exact! =)
On a side note, one of the new features we've added to our Collections is a hair and make up artist for our brides on the day of their Engagement Session. Because we're not there when that's being done we're always blown away when we see the bride for the first time and this was no exception! Thanks Mistica for doing such an amazing job!! =)

Almost every time a client has a place in mind where they want to do their Engagement Session, finding places to shoot within that location, getting our shots and coaching our clients through the shoot is still our responsibility. In this case, we found ourselves in a stair well right next to the building/classroom where they first met. =) They totally rocked the stairwell!! haha

John and "O".....This was such an amazing time with you! Not only did these turn out FANTASTIC, but you gave Brian and I a great bonding experience. These are more than what I expected. You guys are THE BEST!!! Can't wait to see you guys at the wedding and future "family" albums. :) We cannot thank you two enough!

Here in southern Utah it's hard to find inspiration to develop my own brand but when I see how others do such I know I can bring myself above the over saturated market I am dealing with here.
