Lauren got pretty upset with me that I didn't post some of the other shots so here they are along with Sheila+Jerry's slideshow!

We headed over to Costa Mesa early Saturday morning to beat the rush and more importantly the heat for the Sheila+Jerry's second shoot.  Ray from Apertura gave us the suggestion to shoot at the Lab so we did and it was awesome.  I've never been there let alone shoot there so everything I saw was eye candy for me and my camera =)

Our first meeting went something like this...

Erin+Justin: "wedding...Costco...crazy friends with signs."
John+Lauren: "are you serious?!...sweeetttt!!!"

We knew we were going to have ourselves a doozy with these two and their engagement session definitely lived up to the hype.

One of the things we did differently with some of their  that we don't normally do in our post process was use textures.  But, with the architecture and just the overall feel of the day, we thought it would be a great fit.  Big thanks to Fer Juaristi for the textures!  If you love'm give him a little shout on his blog.  He does amazing work and we were fortunate to have found him.  Thanks Fer!

Back to the engagement session...here are some of our favorites (the first of which i'm sure you recognize in our Sneak Peak Post of their pics...

Ever meet someone for the first time and after chatting it up, it feels like you've known that person for years?!  Well that's exactly how it was when I met Herb a few years back.  Herb actually knew both Lauren and I even before we were dating so that should give you an idea of how much he knows us =)  Long story short, we were super honored and stoked that he asked us to shoot his wedding.  What's crazy was that we didn't get to meet Rachel until the day of the shoot!  Talk about pressure!!  =)  Regardless, they were both awesome in front of our cameras and we had a blast!  And Rachel, you looked great! Here are some of our favorites... When we shoot Engagement Sessions we always ask our couples bring at least one prop...in this case PROP = Marley! =) One of the reasons why we loved this shoot so much was because almost all the images had such a "real" feeling to it.  John and I were ssooo excited to shoot with Karen + Joe. From the first time we met them, we knew we were a match made in Starbucks... or in heaven! She is all things handmade and He is all things Twilight... at least according to me and Karen :) but what an awesome recipe for such a cool couple! The session was in Downtown Orange which was totally awesome. We also shot a day early due to weather but was totally cool because we were able to shoot literally until there was no sun left. With hair and make-up provided... props were ready to go and we were off to start shooting! What Downtown Orange is filled with... Vintage Charm with a Modern Mix! Did I mention she was all things handmade Isn't this just so sexy!!! I love it! But my favorite shot of the day... Super Spicy!
