So well into my 7th month, I think we kind of missed our window to travel last minute... minus a possible road trip, but I mean major travel at least to the other side of the country. I noticed I have been slightly attracted to colder weather in our travels, and I am sad we can't do any travelling to the other side of the country. I have always loved snow and rain and covering up and staying as pale as I can, but not this year... it'll just have to wait. Especially with my parents flying to Italy and hopping on a cruise for 2 weeks to tour the Holy Land and my mother-in-law going to NY for a week... I'm super jealous! My travelling itch will have to wait till next year... but I wanted to leave two pictures that totally showed me in how different the other side of the country really can be... I mean, eat at any time of the night, loved the transportation, and walking across the bridge to take a look at the city skyline... We went to NY last Christmas and I fell in love with the city! Oh man, you should hear my NY accent! haha.. I sound like I'm from Texas.. haha! I went there when I was younger with my family, but really, this trip (minus the fighting.. love you!) made me want to pick up and leave. So the memories John captured will have to dance in my mind till next year! Times Square... ts_1615_1.jpg Brooklyn Bridge... bb_1661.jpg

Last week we mentioned that we'd post about our recent Joshua Tree outing...sorry for the delay but here it is =)

 jt_1_10.JPG

Our good friend Joe planned this trip for us to go to Joshua Tree this past August, and I was hesitant being pregnant and all, but John insisted I would really like it, and I am so glad I decided to go. It was so freakin' awesome! Granted, I was only able to walk around and not do any of the fun climbing, I still had an amazing time! I was so glad I went. Oh, I had the worst leg cramp of my life, but other than that, slept so well! I was shocked. Much love to the air matress! Even though it was just a one night trip, it was awesome because it wasn't too far from us, but nice to get away at the same time!
